BEFORE USI NG THE WASHI NG MACHI NE

1.Remove the packaging and check

•

Af t er unpacki ng, make sure that the washing

machi ne i s undamaged. I f in doubt, do not use

the washing machine. Contact After-Sales

•

Keep t h e p ackag i n g mat erials (plastic bags,

polyst yrene part s, et c.) out of reach of children,

si nce i t i s a possi bl e source of danger.

•

If the appliance was exposed t o t he col d pri or t o

deli very, keep i t at room t emperat ure f or a f ew

hours before operating.

2.Remove the transit bolts

•

Th e a p p l i an c e i s f i t t ed wi t h t ransi t bol t s t o

prevent int ernal damage during transport.

(see “Installation”/

”Remove the transit bolts”).

3.Install the washing machine

•

Installing the washing machine requires at least

2 persons.

•

Install the appliance on a sol i d and l evel f l oor

surf ace. I n t he case of a yi el di ng sub- f l oor, t he

appli ance should be i nst all ed i n t he corner of a

room.

•

Adj ust t he f eet to ensure that the machine is

st abl e and l evel on t he f l oor (see “ I nst allation”/

”Adjust the feet”).

•

In case of wooden or so-called “floating floors”

(for instance certain parquet or lami nat e fl oors),

place t he appli ance on a 70 x 70 cm sheet of

plywood at least 3 cm in thickness. The plywood

sheet must be screwed t o t he f l oor.

•

Mak e su r e t h at t h e v en tilation openings in the

base of your washi ng machi ne ( i f avai l abl e on

your washer) are not obstructed by a carpet or

ot her mat eri al.

4.Water inlet

•

Co n n e c t t h e w a t e r s u p p l y i n l e t h o s e i n a c c o r d a n c e

wi t h t he regul at i ons of your local wat er company

(see “Installation”/”Connect the water supply

hose(s) (A or B, depending on the model)” and

instructions on the hose bag).

•

Wa t e r s u p p l y

- for models with one inlet valve: cold water (“C”).

- for models with two inlet valves: cold (“C”) and

hot (“H”) wat er, or cold water only (see also

instructions on separate programme chart).

•

Tap : 3 / 4 ” t h r ead e d h o s e c o n n e c t i o n

•

Pr essu r e: 1 0 0 - 1 0 0 0 k Pa ( 1 - 1 0 b ar ) .

•

Use onl y new hoses t o connect t he washi ng

machi ne t o t he wat er supply. Used hoses must

not be used and should be discarded.

•

We r e c o m m e n d t o r e p l a c e the inlet hoses by new

ones every 3 years.

•

In case of hot inlet water, the temperature must

not exceed 60° C.

5.Drain hose

•

Co n n e c t t h e d r a i n h o s e t o a vent i lated siphon or t o

a st andpi pe; make sure t hat t he connect i on i s f i rm.

6.Electrical connections

•

El ec t r i c a l c o n n e c t i o n s mu s t be carried out by a

quali fi ed elect ri ci an i n compliance with the

manuf act urer's i nst ruct ions and local safety

regulations.

•
